The LINAC machine bunker is a remarkable feat, boasting 128 tonnes of steel plating, high-precision patient positioning lasers, and a maze design engineered to effectively contain radiation and prevent its passage into adjacent areas. This critical project is poised to offer cutting-edge medical care, with the capability to treat up to 24 patients every hour within a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility located in Frenchs Forest. The scope of this centre extends beyond conventional medical services, encompassing medical oncology, radiation oncology, haematology services, as well as post-exercise and dietary advice. The facility features amenities such as basement parking, an elevated Linear Accelerator bunker, consulting suites, an MRI scanner, and patient treatment bays. Located in Terrey Hills on Sydney's Northern Beaches, Wyvern Private Hospital is a monumental $98 million project. This purpose-built hospital is primed to provide a comprehensive range of specialized medical services, including spinal, orthopaedic, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, interventional cardiology, pain management, and ophthalmology. Within its walls, the facility will house seven advanced operating theatres, a cutting-edge catheterization laboratory, 56 surgical inpatient beds, 20 rehabilitation beds, eight intensive care unit (ICU) beds, and a multitude of clinical support units encompassing radiology, pathology, hydrotherapy, and pharmacy. The new building has also been designed to improve patient experiences and outcomes, and expand access to outpatient services including renal dialysis and oncology. It will also include a dedicated short-stay mental health unit for people aged 16 years and over, with four beds specifically developed for adolescents and young people. The state-of-the-art Clinical Services Building will include: an improved emergency department, significant increase in specialist geriatric and rehabilitation beds, new operating theatres, surgical, and medical inpatient units, beds to support patients experiencing mental illness, maternity, medical imaging and paediatrics, and expanded outpatient services with more specialist clinics, renal and oncology services. Tower A (health facility) and Tower B (commercial facility) sets a new benchmark in the provision of health services and healthcare workspace – including a day surgery facility, medical centre, medical imaging, pathology, cancer treatment, medical consulting suites, retail amenity and a 76m pedestrian link bridge safely installed in the live hospital environment, that connects the building to North Shore Private Hospital. The North Shore Health Hub has been awarded a 6 Star – Green Star – Design & As Built v1. 2 certified rating, representing World Leadership in environmentally sustainable building practices and exceeding its 5 Star target. Utech are proud to be contributing to the Royal North Shore Hospital health precinct, one of the busiest Hospital operational environments in NSW. |

As one big development, the Petersham site features the new RSL Club with a day spa and at least two food eateries, as well as street scaping, landscaping, communal parks and six affordable housing units. The $40 million extension includes the design and construction of an additional 15,000m² warehouse space which was connected to the existing operational facility. The warehouse is a steel structure with low height pre-cast concrete walls, full height insulated wall panels with and an insulated panel roof. The warehouse floor is a mesh and fibre combination slab with a high-quality burnished finish. Building services include air-conditioning to the entire warehouse space with all major plant installed on platforms underneath the roof. |
